Interesting facts about Arana Hills

Arana Hills is a suburb north-west of Brisbane, the capital city of Queensland, Australia, and is located at the edge of the Bunyaville Forest Reserve. Its local government area is the Moreton Bay Regional Council.

Arana Hills is almost entirely a residential suburb, served by several neighbourhood shopping villages as well as one of the oldest Kmart stores in the Brisbane area. The area is also served by Brookside Shopping Centre, which is located 3km to the east. It contains one primary school, Pine Community School, with primary schools located in nearby Ferny Hills and Grovely, as well as high schools located just beyond its borders in Ferny Grove and Mitchelton.

Until August 5th 2007 it was also one of the last suburbs in Brisbane to have a Pizza Hut restaurant (as opposed to the more common Take Away stores).
